Where are you located?

Enter Revive and Rise Yoga into GPS. Our studio is within the Sail Lakes property buildings. Our entrance is around back of the signage for Eye Associates. (We face the lake!)

Do I need to register for class or just stop in?

We kindly ask that you pre-register for class. Our space is limited to an intimate amount of students. Our waivers are also electronic, attached to your registration. We generally do not carry cash for walk-ins since we have a pre-registration requirement.

It’s my first time inside your studio, where do I put my belongings?

When you enter inside the studio, we ask that you take your shoes off. We have a room for cubbies and personal items in the back of the studio. Please silence your cell phone and leave it with your personal items. Use this time to create space for yourself and your yoga experience!

Do you have any classes for beginners? It’s my first time; I don’t know any poses.

All classes are designed for beginners and advanced level. We provide space for variations and to scale back practice when it’s needed as well as offer a chance to get curious for new possibilities! You can feel comfortable at any level - yoga is a practice…and here is the good news - You can’t be good or bad at yoga!

I would still like guidance on what class I should begin with based on my level and pace of the class. What do you recommend?

Our most gentle and slow paced classes are Yin & Meditation and Gentle Yoga.

If you are looking for a bit more while still building upon foundations of yoga, people enjoy the Slow Flow and Revive Flow classes. We also have a Rise & Flow class.

If you are looking to pick up the pace a bit more, try out our Vin to Yin (The first part of class vinyasa, the second part is Yin style), and Slow Vinyasa classes (a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa styles) and Movement & Meditation class.

Our most challenging class is Power Vinyasa. Though this is all levels, we recommend learning some foundations of each pose prior to jumping into this class. You can also try our newest class, YogaFit (a class designed for a well rounded workout using a combination of HIIT, strengthening and toning, core stability & more!)

Are your classes heated?

Power Vinyasa and YogaFit classes are comfortably heated to about 80-85 degrees and use an infrared heat lamp that is designed to heat you rather than the room! This temperature supports your physical practice as well as giving you a purified and detoxifying sweat! Warm up to become more malleable and flexible!

What happens if I am running late?

We encourage you to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start of class. Yoga teaches us to honor one another and that includes each other’s time. This also allows time for everyone to get set up. Class will begin on time and the doors will be locked at the start of each class. We ask that you honor this for Lakeview yoga and virtual yoga to allow for any technical support.

Can I practice if I am pregnant?

Yes, but we ask that you first consult with your doctor. The activity level you did prior to pregnancy is generally safe to continue. We ask that you communicate with your instructor so that you can be accommodated. Yoga can be modified per the trimester you are in to keep you and your baby healthy and safe. Please do the same for postpartum.

What if I have an injury?

As always, please consult with your doctor first. We ask you inform your instructor, as every injury is different and may require modifications to scale your practice. We want to promote healing, work with the injury and not further progress it.

What is the age limit someone can practice?

Anyone under the age of 18 will need a legal guardian to sign their release form. You may practice alone age 14 or older. If you are between the ages of 12 to 13, we kindly ask that you are accompanied by an adult. We believe yoga is beneficial for kids, though it is more appropriate if they attend a class designed for their age limit (younger than 12). We do offer Kid’s Yoga during certain times of year and as private yoga. Please inquire for more information.

What should I bring for Lakeview yoga?

We recommend that you bring your own mat. Bring or wear something warm in case it gets chilly during sundown. You are welcome to bring bug spray and sunglasses. Bring water to hydrate. Bring a towel to place under your yoga mat as we have geese who like to leave geese blessings!

What should I bring for Sweetwater Riverdeck yoga?

We recommend that you bring your own mat. Bring or wear something warm in case the weather is chilly. You are welcome to wear sunglasses. Bring water to hydrate.
